The Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library sit in Delaware's historic and scenic Brandywine Valley. At the museum, the "Made in Americas" exhibit (see website page linked above) and a special exhibit of Currier & Ives (www.winterthur.org/currierandives) also can be viewed.
Several other important venues are a short distance away. Symposium attendees, and their families, should include a visit to some of these sites during their stays in this area.
